After immersing myself in reports, filings, and the lore surrounding Costco as a whole, it became very clear how the company is one of those very instances. A relentless focus on incremental improvements has cemented the company as one of the most prominent corporate success stories of our generation, a phenomenon that should transcend time as the enterprise’s value proposition remains as strong as ever today. But how exactly did we get here, and what exactly makes Costco so special?
